The first voice you will hear when you contact Village Dental Care and upon arrival to our office Renee will greet you.  She is our friendly and highly skilled scheduler and financial coordinator.  Like the rest of our team, our office is highly professional, but also warm and inviting.

The initial visit involves getting your medical history.  Also tell Dr. Litman the names of any medications you are taking — whether prescription or over-the-counter products — and the name of your physician.  It is also important to bring up any fears you may have about dental treatment.  The information collected in your first visit will help Dr. Litman select the safest and most effective method of treatment for you.

Your appointment will consist of a thorough examination and consultation, including a soft tissue exam where we look for any abnormalities that may be of concern.  We will also perform an oral cancer screening to check for any potentially dangerous oral lesions.  Your examination may also include a series of digital x-rays and an exam with a digital intraoral camera to check for any problems that may not be visible to the naked eye.  Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile we’re also concerned about your health. 

A clear explanation of our findings will be given to you and Dr. Litman will discuss all of the treatment alternatives with you.  Once a treatment plan has been established, we will set up a series of appointments to treat your specific problems.  Financial arrangements will be discussed at your first visit, or during a subsequent consultation.
